Terms of Use

App Store license
Beam is licensed through Apple’s App Store, not sold. Unless a custom end-user license agreement is published in App Store Connect, Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies. These product terms supplement that license.
What Beam provides
Beam provides tools for recording or importing audio, creating on-device transcripts, organizing local meeting information, searching, scheduling, adding manual highlights, playback, and export. Features may vary by device, iOS version, installed Apple language models, and purchase status.
Beam is not a professional legal, medical, financial, compliance, or emergency service. Transcripts and generated outputs can contain errors. Independently preserve and verify information important to safety, legal rights, money, employment, health, or compliance.
Your content
You retain your rights in content you create or import. You grant Beam only the permission needed to process it on your device and perform actions you request. You are responsible for your content, any backup you need, and the rights required to record, transcribe, store, or share it.
Local storage and deletion
Removing the app, losing or damaging the device, running out of storage, or deleting a meeting can make local content unavailable. Review exports before relying on them as backups. Deleting in Beam does not remove copies exported elsewhere.
Free features and Lifetime Pro
Beam may offer free features and a one-time Lifetime Pro purchase. Lifetime Pro unlocks the local or non-recurring-cost features shown on the purchase screen at purchase time. Apple handles payment, tax, refunds, Family Sharing eligibility, and restoration.
“Lifetime” refers to the supported lifetime of the Beam product. Features with ongoing third-party or cloud-compute costs, including possible future cloud transcription or AI services, are not included unless the purchase screen expressly says otherwise.
Acceptable use
You may not misuse Beam, interfere with its security or operation, distribute malware through exports, violate another person’s privacy or intellectual-property rights, or use the app contrary to applicable law.
Availability and warranty
Features may be fixed, improved, added, removed, or discontinued. On-device transcription and background processing partly depend on Apple frameworks, models, storage, power conditions, and iOS behavior. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Beam is provided “as is” and “as available,” without excluding mandatory consumer rights.
Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Hangzhou Flourish Network Technology Co., Ltd will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive losses arising from Beam, including loss of content, opportunity, revenue, or data.
